In order to better understand the historical development of your park, it is recommended that you provide a brief history.  Here are the essential elements that you need to include in laying out the history and background of your park.

• When was your park established?

• Are there any critical moments that helped your park be established?  If there are, then use available resources (e.g., historical documents, films, and pictures) to help present the history.

• What are the important historical moments that may be linked to your park?
