A marketing vision statement is a single sentence used to guide your image of successful marketing. The vision statement should be concise and far-sighted3.  In developing the marketing vision statement, please consider:

 
·        Park History: How the park started and major events related to the park, and its attractions, visitors, etc.
 
·        Resources and Competencies: Consider what the park currently possesses by answering the following:
 

Questions to be asked

Observation

§         What are we good at?

 

§         What is special about us compared to current and future competitors?

 

§         What do we do that gives us a competitive advantage?
