CHAPTER V. MARKETING IMPLEMENTATION (ACTION PLAN) |
A. Development of Timetables
Once your marketing plan is developed, you should turn that plan into a series of appropriate actions in order to achieve your marketing objectives. At this stage, you should think more about how you do things right than how you do the right things (though both are critical for successful accomplishment of your mission and objectives).
A timetable serves as an effective means to turn your marketing strategies into concrete plans. By setting exact deadlines for specific marketing tasks and objectives, it offers you a basis to evaluate (or measure) the progress of your marketing plan. |
Therefore, you should try to make a timetable for the marketing tasks that you have created in previous sections. To make a workable action plan for your park, it is recommended that you follow the steps introduced below.
1) You should first identify specific marketing tasks to be completed in response to each of your marketing objectives. 2) You should assess available resources that can be utilized for each marketing task. 3) You need to assess who has the necessary skills for each marketing task. 4) Make sure you have enough financial resources to complete each marketing task 5) Finally, reasonable timelines should be set for each task considering available resources (e.g., time, money, staff, and so on). |
In sum, you should assign the right people to the right tasks with feasible timelines. Following the above steps, you can make an effective timetable (action plan) for the successful fulfillment of your marketing strategies. |
