CHAPTER I. INTRODUCTION

3. Description of current partners

Partnerships are becoming an effective means for the National Park Service to successfully fulfill parts of their mission. Visitor satisfaction often hinges on the actions of other organizations.

Thus, relationships with complementary organizations need to be carefully managed and monitored.  For this reason, you should assess the current partners of your park.

The partners of your park may include both suppliers (e.g., lodging facilities, hotels, restaurants and food service facilities, car rental companies, local CVBs) and other attractions (e.g., adjacent national and/or local parks and commercial parks).
